I have published in highly respected journals/publications like Journal of Public Economics, Journal of International Economics and Princeton Studies in International Finance. Scores of master’s and Ph.D. dissertations are based on my work. I have received various fellowships including Fulbright and from the World Bank. I have been a visiting scholar at Columbia University and invited as an expert at U.N. conferences and at NBER Summer Institutes. I helped organize a conference co-sponsored by the European Central Bank. Professors at Harvard University and Berlin University have sought my comments on their papers. I have made lasting contributions on transfer pricing, relationship between multinational firm’s investment and capital flight, and economic development and growth and convergence (my current research interest).
